What
distinguishes Project TELL lessons and units from other lessons
available on the web?
- Every
single lesson or unit includes technology that has been infused into
teaching and learning with the intent of improving the higher order
thinking skills of our students.
- The
lessons and units were developed by teachers whose first consideration
was content standards and benchmarks, teaching and learning standards,
and assessment standards.
- The
lessons demonstrate the integration of a broad range of technologies
into the curriculum: PowerPoint, digital video, scanners, digital
cameras, GIS/GPS systems, TI-15 calculators, digital microscopes,
MIDI, Photoshop software, Internet, word processing, and heartrate
monitors.
- Parents
and community members can explore these lessons to learn more about the
activities in which students and teachers are engaged.
- Teachers
interested in submitting a lesson plan to add to our Website,
information and a template can be found at "submit a lesson."
- If you
would like to try developing your own interdisciplinary unit, check out
the
Unit Development Process.
