Quickly consider these questions as a group:

1.  When and where will the next meeting be held?
2.  Does the team need to stay on Step Five, which is to plan an assessment for the culminating task?   If so, plan another meeting to complete the rubric or the weighted checklist.  If  not....go to 3.
3.  The purpose of Step Six is to plan finalize lessons for each content area. Before that  individual work begins, the team will first consider, as a group, the Standards for Teaching and Learning.  Each team member needs to:
a.  Think about using high standards as you select and develop lessons.  Take time before the next meeting to come back here and reflect on these Standards for Teaching and Learning.
b.  Individually, review the benchmarks identified for their content area.
c.  Gather resources, make phone calls, search the Internet, visit the library, plan lessons.
Step Six consists of :
  • a brief meeting to consider Standards for Teaching and Learning,
  • individual work to plan lessons, assessments, fill in the unit chart, and
  • a brief meeting to share lesson plans.
