consider these questions as a group:
| 1. When and where will the next meeting be held? | |
| 2. Does the team need to stay on Step Three, which is to settle on a unit focus question and focus questions and benchmarks for each content area? If so, each team member needs to think about focus questions, read through his benchmarks again, and do some more thinking before the next meeting. If not....go to 3. | |
| 3. If the next meeting moves on to Step Four, team members need to: | |
| a. Print a copy of the Student Task Brainstorming Tool for ideas about a student culminating task that ties together concepts from all content areas, gets students thinking critically, and uses technology. | |
| b. Print the Culminating Task Worksheet. | |
| c. Gather resources for activities for content areas. This may include making phone calls to local resource people, searching the Internet (try http://lii.org/ ), looking at printed material around the school, home, or the library and thinking about creating new activities. You will not finalize the student activities until Step Six. | |
| d. Think about using high standards as you select and develop the student end product. Take time before the next meeting to come back here and reflect on these Assessment Standards. | |
