Time to pause and reflect...

Is the process working?

Is everybody moving forward together?

If not, why not?

Get doubts, concerns, “Yeah, buts” out in the open.  You may need to take a meeting or part of a meeting to address and solve problems.

Would it help to -

Involve the principal for part of a meeting?

Hold a meeting that is a work session, so individuals can do things related to their own content area?

Have each person write down concerns and then share them?

Review the rest of the steps so you can see how far you have come?  These first three steps are the most difficult.

Have chocolate at the next meeting?

If you have made it this far, you have accomplished a lot.  What you are planning will give students a rich, memorable learning experience. Keep going!
